Dr Gerrit Hartung has been a FIFA-licensed players’ agent since 1996 and has practised as a solicitor specialising in sports and contract law for over three decades. Right at the start of his legal career, he worked alongside his father as in-house counsel for Borussia Mönchengladbach. He was also shaped by a family of lawyers renowned throughout Germany, as well as early insights into the world of top-flight football and its leading figures, including Günter Netzer.

This combination of close ties to football, legal expertise and decades of practical experience has resulted in a profile of expertise that is exceptional in the German market, combining legal know-how, commercial acumen, and in-depth market knowledge and negotiating experience in international professional football.
